Arpeggios Played In One Position

A great technique is the ability to change chord types arpeggio style - in one position.


Starting with the C major chord play the following examples in one position.

                    up in tone                           down in tone
C major,      C, E, G, C, E, G then back G, E, C, G, E, C
C maj7th,    C, E, G, B, C, E, G G, E, C, B, G, E, C
C+,              C, E, G#, C, E, G# G#, E, C, G#, E, C
